The Lessons

Lesson 1

In this lesson, we’re diving into the magic of paper hearts—turning scraps, textures, and colors into beautiful digital creations. You'll see how I take traditional mixed media pieces and transform them into unique digital art using Photoshop and Procreate.

Lesson 2

Start with your hands—and end with something magical. In this lesson, we’ll play with paint, gelli prints, stamps, and stencils to create rich textures using traditional art supplies, then bring them into the digital world as one-of-a-kind papers. Whether you're getting messy with your own materials or using the included resources, you'll explore how to reimagine handmade beauty into bold digital designs.

Lesson 3

Discover the magic hiding in plain sight. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to turn overlooked or ordinary items into joyful works of art. I’ll show you how I transformed a dull piece of wall decor into a vibrant collage using paint, layers, and play. You’ll never look at your surroundings the same way again.

Lesson 4

Get a peek into my process of transforming traditional art into digital magic! In this playful lesson, you’ll explore a layered floral collage and pick your favorite pieces to “cut out” and remix in your own way. It’s all about creative freedom, color play, and discovering hidden gems in the artwork. No rules—just pure, imaginative fun.

Lesson 5

In this expansive lesson, we dive into where inspiration comes from and how to turn it into your own unique style. I’ll walk you through my creative journey—from snapping photos and playing with vintage graphics to building full collections. We’ll explore art journals, sketchbooks, creative challenges, and even how I use AI and old artwork to spark fresh ideas. This lesson is packed with encouragement, practical tools, and proof that you don’t need to be “naturally talented” to create something beautiful—just willing to keep showing up.

Lesson 6

Discover how to turn sketches, paintings, or even AI prompts into beautiful, personal coloring pages! I’ll show you four fun methods using both traditional and digital tools—plus how I creatively use AI like MidJourney and ChatGPT to brainstorm and spark fresh ideas. From pencil to Procreate, this lesson is all about playful experimentation and bringing your line art to life.

Lesson 7

Step into the soulful world of vintage paper, forgotten scraps, and found textures. In this lesson, we explore how to collect, scan, and transform old letters, receipts, and fabric pieces into stunning digital assets. You’ll learn how to clean up scans, create custom Photoshop brushes, and layer textures in playful, unexpected ways. It’s part art history, part treasure hunt—and a whole lot of creative magic.

Lesson 8

This lesson is all about getting unstuck and getting playful. First, I’ll share my go-to, low-pressure method for sparking fresh ideas—plus how a simple watercolor experiment led to a whole new project. Then, we’ll dive into designing custom alphabet graphics from scratch, adding color and texture to make them shine. From creative blocks to cookie-inspired letters, this lesson is a colorful reminder that small steps can lead to big creative breakthroughs.

Lesson 9

This lesson is your colorful deep dive into the world of color theory—with a playful twist. You’ll learn the basics of the artist’s color wheel, explore harmonies, tints, and tones, and discover your own signature color. I’ll guide you through building personal palettes in both digital and traditional mediums, plus show you how to create your own “color book” full of swatches and inspiration. Whether you love bold brights or soft neutrals, this is where your color confidence begins.

The Bonuses

A Few Extra Treats to Spark Your Creativity

These bonus videos are like the cherry on top—fun, inspiring extras to take your projects even further! You’ll learn how to create your own mini notes and envelopes (with editable templates!), design playful digital washi tape, and even explore the magic of making your own font. Just a little something extra to keep the creative energy flowing.

Are the videos pre-recorded?

The content is pre-recorded so you can watch it at your own pace and at your convenience. Lifetime access included.

Do I need Photoshop and Procreate?

Nope. You can use the design software of your choice. I'll be using Photoshop and Procreate but most of the design content can be replicated in whatever design software your choose. However, there might be some content that I create that won't translate to other design software exactly. I will be creating stamp brushes in Procreate, for example, and while I could create these in Photoshop, the step by step process is different.

*Please note: Canva is not considered an industry-standard design software so it does not have all the tools that a true design software includes.

Do I need to know how to draw?

Not at all. I'll teach you ways to improve your current skill level but you don't need anything beyond a willingness to learn how to create beautiful digital designs.

What if I'm a PLC Insiders member? Is this content in Insiders?

PLC Insiders get access to the finished graphics I create, but only Re: imagine members see the full behind-the-scenes process of how they’re made. This is not in (and won't be added to) PLC Insiders.

Is Re: imagine in Design Business in a Box Plus?

Yes! If you're a DBB Plus student you don't need to purchase this as you get free access.
